21 SATURDAY
Day in Paris to do as you please We took a Hop on and hop off buses
take you to all the sightseeing places.

APRIL 22 SUNDAY
We visited Versailles Morning: Taking the RER and arrived early at
Versailles. Tour palace interior. and the gardens in time to see the
fountains dance to music. It was a beautiful day.

APRIL 23 MONDAY
Out to the airport to pick up our 9 passenger van by 10am with the
help of TOM TOM it was easy to navigate to HONFLEUR Overnight:

APRIL 24 TUESDAY
Drive over to Giverny to see the gardens ( closed on Monday) Overnight: MERCURE

APRIL 25 WEDNESDAY
Drive to Bayuex and afternoon enjoy self guided tour of the TAPISTRIES Dating back almost a millennium, this vast wool embroidery spans the centuries, illustrating the Conquest of England by William, Duke of Normandy. We also got to see the temporary exhibition “In the Vikings’ footsteps”
O/N Bayeux 3 nights HOTEL CHURCHILL is a great Location with main shopping street out the front door.

Today WE HAVE A PRIVATE GUIDED TOUR as this adds great value to our experience.

Today we will visit the Military Cemetary at HAM, where General PATTON is
buried as well as the most important American Cemetary in EUROPE is at St AVOLD,
a half hour's drive from THIONVILLE THEN ON TO THE FORESTS OF THE ARDENNES O/N

MAY 02 WEDNESDAY
We will take our time getting to Brugge stopping to see some things to break up
the drive. There are some castles and a towns worth a view O/N

THURSDAY
Bruges
is a great medieval city found in Belgium. Once one of the wealthiest cities in
Europe, today is now viewed as a historical masterpiece. When you arrive in
Bruges you are virtually stepping into the middle ages! all around you will

MAY 04 FRIDAY
Drive thru Flanders (Ghent or Mechelen) and on to Delft. O/N Hotel de Emauspoort

Since we got to our hotel by noon we went on to the Keukenhoff as the weather
was so nice and we feared rain later in the week

Canals of Delft
MAY 06 SUNDAY Day trip to Giethoorn a village northeast of
Amsterdam with canals and thatched cottages. Once a mining area for Peat. The
lake was the mine and the canals were used to transport the peat and as a
waterway to other canals in Holland.
